I’m thrilled that we’ve had some prizes offered for the delegates of the AVAC event. These will be given out during the course of the conference to some lucky delegates.
More details will be given soon but if you haven’t yet registered, here is yet another incentive to come along – with valuable prizes being given away!

I am new to the world of Virtual Assistants and have had an extensive background in being a PA and EA throughout my working life – I have chosen the path of wanting to become a VA – for many reasons – but mostly because I really loved my career (before recently becoming a ’stay at home mum’) and miss it so very much – I have been seeking a way in which I could work from home, to do what I love to do so much and be able to network all at the same time – I can’t tell you how excited I was to come across the term ‘Virtual Assistant’ – I had an inkling that there would be something out there, but finding it I thought would be much harder – the day I came across Kathie’s website, I was so excited and called her straight away – I am so excited to be attending the AVAC conference, so much so that I renewed a long lost friendship over Facebook and she too has purchased her ticket to the event and is even flying from Adelaide to attend – I can’t tell you how proud I will feel once I become a member of this ‘elite’ group of wonderful, supportive VA’s – bring on Friday!!!! – I can’t wait!!!! – Nicole Sun

It’s so great to hear your enthusiasm Nicole. There are many of us VA’s who feel the same way and are loving combining parenthood with a great work solution. I look forward to meeting you and your friend and I also am waiting with anticipation to attend:) Liz Dowsett
