- 8 March (Tuesday) 2011 – International Women’s Day – IWD Global Centenary 1911-2011
- 11 to 14 March 2011 – Port Fairy Folk Festival with International and National artists over the four day long week-end. The festival presents folk roots, blues, jazz, bluegrass, celtic roots, jazz, crossroads country and rock, and music of the world. Plus a Children’s Folk Circus, a Free Festival of the Streets, markets, buskers and a beautiful setting of history, sun and sea. (see more about Port Fairy)
- 11 to 14 March 2011 – Chillout Festival – at Daylesford is the largest gay and lesbian celebration in regional and rural Australia. Major events include Carnival Day, the Dance Party and the Street Parade.
